The story of Politia Tennis Club begins with the vision of its founder, Mr. Costas Drosopoulos, and his great love for the sport of tennis. In 1981, the Club made a start as sports and tennis player hangout. It acquires the first members and organizes tournaments for the Friendship Cup, while distinguished among all private tennis clubs. Here the biggest tennis tournament in Greece takes place, with 865 people participating in a month. The media devote hundreds of articles about the Club, praising its founder and describing it as the "Jewel of the Northern Suburbs." Gradually events are organized for club members and in 1990 the first wedding was held on site. Kids parties follow forming history, as well as other events. Seeking constant evolution and renewal, the facilities are extended. The pool is added to the complex and new halls are created. In 2004 the picturesque Church of Politia Tennis Club is built, complementing the dreamy backdrop of weddings. In 2012, with great love, the Wedding Market is established by the new generation, a fabulous place that takes care of everything around the most important celebrations of life ... Politia Tennis Club is now the only place that undertakes the overall design of an event, for people who trust the experts. Today, it can accommodate up to 800 people at a reception, all year round. It has been estimated that more than 550,000 people have visited the area over the years.
